It is the mission of Tic-Tac-Tots Preschool, Inc. to provide a multitude of developmentally appropriate experiences for the children in our care. It is our aim to provide quality care in a nurturing environment, which promotes play and social development.

We have a Child Centered Approach:

to develop positive self-esteem and self-concept in each child.
to provide a safe and secure environment that fosters the development of the "whole child."
to provide multiple developmentally appropriate activities and learning experiences for the children in our care.

The program at Tic-Tac-Tots is based on the developmental needs of children. We work to make each activity developmentally appropriate for the children in our care. Developmentally Appropriate Activities means both individually and age appropriate activities. The curriculum at Tic-Tac-Tots includes the following:

Circle Time (days of the week, calendar, weather, show & tell)
Creative arts activities
Science activities
Music & movement
Story time
Multicultural activities
Cooking
Letter of the week
Math (numbers, counting & patterns)
Outdoor play
Free play/Social time
Field trips & guest speakers
Birthday celebrations (optional)
Special child of the week

The curriculum at Tic-Tac-Tots is based on monthly themes. The curriculum is evaluated during the program evaluation and assessment, which is conducted annually. The program is evaluated by the Director, staff, and the parents/guardians of the children we care for.
